yes, we drove 4 hours just to eat pancakes. worth it. Growing up, my family would wake up early in the morning and drive all the way to puncak from jakarta, just for the pancakes at Puncak Pass Resort. We'd make the trip at least once a year, and sometimes we'd stay longer and do different things like horseback riding. It's so crazy to me that the air can be so clean just a few hours away from the polluted city of Jakarta! This tradition unfortunately stopped a few years ago when the resort burned down. They've built it back up again for a while now, but we just never went. I guess it's because the traffic has gotten worse and the idea doesn't seem as fun as it did when we were kids. But I've been thinking about the delicious pancakes for some time, so I suggested to my family that we make the trip again. We were all soon to leave for Denmark anyway. I'm so glad we did! The pancakes tasted just the same. So, so good. I'm posting this just for the memories and because I received a couple of comments on my last video saying you would like to see more videos of Indonesia!
