Hi Dear Viewers, I am so excited to make todays video as I am going to attend the largest car meetup in India Ever. Ecostvm - a community based in Trivandrum for the Ford Eco sports owners, organized their third annual Mega car meetup. Clubs and gatherings named after cars are not uncommon in the country anymore. But the capital city was the venue for the country's biggest gathering of a particular brand of cars last night. Thiruvananthapuram witnessed the largest gathering of Ford Eco Sport compact SUV users. About 290 Ford Eco Sport cars gathered at the Mega Meet at Al Saj Convention Center in Kazhakoottam on Sunday. Club members 'Ecos Trivandrum', an association of Eco sport owners based in the capital city and living in Thiruvananthapuram for work and other purposes, gathered to celebrate their third anniversary. The members of Ecos Trivandrum are car enthusiasts who treat the car like a member of their family, even after the Ford Motor Company has stopped manufacturing cars in India, and their love for the popular Eco Sport brand has not lost an iota. 290 EcoSports in different colors are lined up in the parking lot. A total of around 1000 people including owners and family members including children came to this gathering. Thiruvananthapuram Deputy Police Commissioner Ajit Kumar IPS was the chief guest. He said it was the first time that so many people had come together and celebrated in the name of a car brand.He distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions. Ford India Customer Service Operations Head Manoj Dadich addressed the gathering online. He said that despite the halt in production in India, there will be no disruption to Ford customers in terms of service, warranty or availability of spare parts and the service centers will continue to function as before.
