Destiny 2 is a game that has been almost universally praised by professional video game publications, yet has received very middling fanfare from actual gamers. Made by the creators of Halo, Bungie, this sequel is a perfect example of poor storytelling, forgettable places and characters, poor exposition, and flash over substance. While Destiny 2 isn't a bad game, it excels nowhere, and most other things are just competently executed.
