Railway Children's video: Young Runaways Radio Project

The Next Gen Youth (NGY) & Liverpool Young Runaway’s (LYR) bring you a very special radio show this 30 minute programme has been made by young people for young people. A group of young people from the Liverpool Young Runaways project have produced a radio show talking about issues of young people going missing or running away. They have written and performed their own radio drama called TARGET which explores the risks of going missing and CSE, young people also took part in a discussion about running away and interviewed Merseyside Police, The Brook and Action for Children’s Liverpool Young Runaway’s project. Railway Children funded this project thanks to Unity Radio 92.8 FM, Liverpool Young Runaway’s and Action for Children. The show has been made by young people for young people, it’s also a great to use as teaching and learning resource in schools or youth settings.
