Whether Rana's plots to kill her or the public trials of stating her immoral or debased, she stood against all odds for her subjectivity and freedom. Rana, the King often is an enigmatic figure from her own matrimonial clan. After all the failures, he decides with a dagger to kill Meera himself. But how and whom does he kill? The whole palace is illusioned with numberless Meera, wherever he sees - nothing but Meera. A man's true love for something can make even the harshest hardships an easy play. Meera's parables serve as a fierce example of a woman's struggle for self-identity in a time dominated by patriarchy and stringent norms.
