While heedlessly relishing worldly contentments, we tend to forget our true swan nature. Nanak says, when the true master appears, he liberates us from the endless cycles of rebirth and realizes us to our true nature, the one ever free and pure. Our dear Lateeb, the one with an unbroken reserve of energy and his very spirited smiles has added charm to this ode by adding the melodic Rajasthani delight. With a habit to burst between songs with his playful Khartaal skills, he makes the audience dance to his passionate beats. Lateeb here sings a voice of a newly married girl who spices up stories with her innocence to meet her groom. Making things exaggerated, she exclaims that a scorpion has bitten her. In a youthful love, she yearns for her husband to come and bring down the poison from her body. Where one takes us closer to the self the other makes the heart lose in playful delight.
