WDG3A twins from DLS PUNE chugging their heart out as they accelerate rapidly with a south bound CONCOR rake towards Mangalore Junction! Notice the slow entry of the train at the start and then look at how rapidly the CONCOR accelerates behind the Mu'ed diesel from PUNE. Due to the phasing out of diesel locos from passenger trains, the only way to catch diesel hauled train in KR now is though these freight trains. 99% of times, even the freights run with electric locomotives in KR these days and getting diesel hauled freights is also based on pure luck!
