Lovely rendering Prakash Rao, Album Ashtapathi with Gopika Poornima Poet Sri Jayadeva was born in 11th century in Bindu Bilva village near Puri Jagannath Temple in Orissa. His wife Padmavati, was an accomplished temple dancer. He was very much influenced by the culture and devotion of Vaishnava Brahmanas. His magnum opus "Gita Govinda' is one of the most popular compositions in Sanskrit language, describing the divine love of Radha and Krishna. Jayadev, in these marvellous verses through a narrator is exhorting of Radha to go to Vrindavan and meet Krishna. The emotions and Joy of experiencing Krishnas transcendental pastime are lyrically explained to delight all couples. English Translation by Ramesh Krishnakumar August 2020
