Evocative rendering: Vedic Priests, Krishna Jyothi TV Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.8.1-42 Narayana Kavach stotra is chanted for overcoming fear, enmity, hostility and suffering caused by ghosts, evil spirits and other hostile or unfavourable forces. There are manifold benefits of chanting this sacred hymn described in the 'Phala Sruthi.' (benefits of hearing). It is said that all the elements will bow down to a person who chants the Narayana Kavacham as prescribed in the Bhagavatam. It can be chanted/listened to once in a day. As preparation, one must invoke Lord Vishnu on all parts of the body a process called Anga-nyas and kara-nyas. A quite simple technique, which can be learnt from any pundit and is explained in the hymn, It is followed by Narayan Kavach. If you are afflicted by from any of these problems – fear of poverty, hostility at the work place, enmity, haunting by evil spirits, bad planetary influence this chant is ideal…..by eliminating fear and gaining the protection of the Armour of Narayana.. one gains unmatched abundance…and be free of a tormented mind.
