Beyond that, Bhagavan had the extraordinary ability to compress into a few words the full breadth of the Upanishadic realization and HIS own direct experience of it. It is these verses and compositions that are chanted daily at Sri Ramanasramam Ulladu Narpadu was composed by Bhagavan Ramana in 1928. It is the clearest exposition of the Master describing the goal of human existence and the path that an earnest seeker must tread to attain it. We can be certain that Sri Ramana carefully scrutinized each verse, word by word. Essentially the message is clear to all those seeking illumination and immortality should stop looking for it outside of them, sit down and ponder over the means to enlightenment revealed by the Master in this concise scripture. However in the end he concludes that one must choose a form of diety to worship… so that the “I” cannot counter its growing inner presence..
