Ustadh made us understand where to draw a line and what needs to change about Desi Parenting Style when it comes to issues like marriages or career paths. Towards the end, we talked about How to overcome Loneliness in today’s time where everyone feels disconnected from their friends and family. Ustadh explained the importance of having a strong purpose in life to combat loneliness and depression. There is a difference between being alone, and feeling lonely. Loneliness doesn’t always mean being by yourself, without anyone to talk to or interact with. You can feel lonely even if you’re in a room full of people, surrounded by noise and laughter; whilst equally, you can feel content and happy in a room by yourself.
