Transformers Movie 2024 | MEGATRON & ORION PAX Cast & More! What's going on guys? RBG here bringing you a video on the newly announced Transformers Animated movie. For the time being its going under the working name Transformers One and is still in early development. So there's a strong possibility that it could be called something else by the time an official trailer comes out for it. Earlier this year, Paramount Pictures announced that this new animated Transformers movie is in-development, and is set for release on July 19, 2024. And to be fair we heard about this movie while ago. If I'm not mistaken it was 3 years ago in 2020 where Deadline reported that Paramount Animation and Hasbro's eOne studio have hired Toy Story 4's director Josh Cooley to direct a big-scale Transformers theatrical prequel. And they've brought on Ant-Man and the Wasp screenwriters Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari penned the script. The film will explore the origins of the Autobots and Decepticons on the planet Cybertron, specifically revolving around the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron. Now what's important to note about this movie is that it was originally set to release this year. From what's been reported by Deadline that particular project Lorenzo DiBonaventura who's been tied to every live action TF film in the past won't be the producer this time around. Which is a huge win for those who grew tired of the formulaic nature of the previous installments. 1 of the biggest roadblocks stopping them from getting a film set on Cybertron and potential Beast Wars film was him. I vividly remember him shooting down the idea of a film focusing on the origins of Optimus Prime. And suggesting that a Beast Wars film wouldn't work. And you guys already know how I feel about Beast Wars but I think I've spoken my peace on more than 1 occasion so I'm not gonna go there again. But now we have Rise of the Beasts that was originally set to release in 2022 releasing this year and Transformers One will now be releasing next year. And this is great news because it's something the fans have been asking for for what seems like an eternity. Ever since we got small glimpes of the Transformer's homeworld in cinematic format we've wondered what it would be like if we got a full length movie. And seeing how well this story was portrayed in games like War for Cybertron only made us yearn for it more. There's just so much we can explore with the origins of Orion Pax and Megatron. From all of the different lores we've had since the Transformers early inception. The beginning scene of Bumblbee was arguably the best because it was featured on Cybertron. Like people have admitted to me that it's the only thing they enjoyed from that movie. And they just want more of it. And now Paramount and Hasbro is delivering it. Now with that said, it’s important to note that this new project is reportedly “separate and apart” from any of the live-action Transformers movies. So while we will surely be seeing plenty of familiar Autobot and Decepticon faces alongside Optimus Prime and Megatron, these aren’t the same versions of the characters that eventually end up on Earth and interact with folks like Shia LaBeouf’s Sam Witwicky and Mark Wahlberg’s Cade Yeager. Something that further confirms this is the recently revealed voice cast. 0:00 Intro 0:18 Transformers One? 0:43 Pushed Back to 2024 1:00 Optimus and Megatron's Friendship 2:59 New Voice Cast 4:27 Animation Style 6:35 First Look at Cybertron 7:41 Story Details 9:17 Potential Trilogy 10:57 What Caused the Divide 13:35 Outro
