He has also been translating the lyrics of Kavi Rabindranath and Sir Iqbal into Sanskrit'. Apart from singing talent, Ranjan's competence in writing original songs too, is well-marked. He has been composing a goid number of original Sanskrit.songs. His untiring effort is honored with ‘Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Memorial Integration Award’ in Jorhat, Assam in 2014 and 'Rastriya Sanskrit Geetikavi' by Lokabhasha Prachar Samiti, Bharat in 2020. He has been presenting his Sanskrit renditions on various prestigious platforms of the country and receiving them with warm accolades. Ranjan has gifted a number of music albums namely Manomohini (2008), Mriganayana ( 2011), Sagara- Sangamah ( 2012), Yasoda Nandana (2014), Anandini (2019), Suhashini (2021, on going project).
