14th RASHTRA KATHA SHIBIR (2011) Dr. Hemchandra Chintamani (H.C.) Pradhan, H. C. Pradhan retired as Senior Professor and Director of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He does research in Physics Education, Mathematics Education and Teaching Methods. Their current project is 'Alternative Conceptions in Heat and Thermodynamics'. Pradhan is also a science communicator and educationist. He is currently editing a four part Junior Encyclopedia on Biology and Environment in Marathi (about 1000 entries) for the Government of Maharashtra State, India. He was the President of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. (2013-2018). He is a member of the Advisory Council of the Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation.
