In this video, I unbox the Pop 3 and share my initial thoughts and test scans before giving my final summary. As a tech enthusiast, I'm excited to see how this device changes the game in creating 3D models.
The Pop 3 boasts an impressive datasheet and a list of smart features, including a biocular dual camera infrared light technology, a point distance/resolution of 0.05mm, and a single-frame precision of up to 0.05mm. But how does it perform in real-world conditions?
Weighing just 190g and with dimensions of 153mm x 45mm x 29mm, the Pop 3 is a compact and portable 3D scanner. But does its small size compromise its scanning capabilities? Let's find out.
With a scanning speed of 12fps - 18fps, the Pop 3 promises quick and efficient scanning. But does it deliver on this promise? And how accurate are the scans? Let's put it to the test.
Can it scan intricate shapes? How does it handle different materials? What are the limitations? And most importantly, can it scan black objects and handle shiny materials?
I attempt to address these questions and more in this video. Be sure to like and subscribe for more content from Rate My Funeral.
