Raw Metal Racers's video: Ducati 999 - Aluminum Gas tank - Cafe racer

We've made an Aluminum gas tank for this awesome Ducati 999 built by Sami-Motori. After we've made a paper template for the bottom piece, we made it out of aluminum. Then we made a wireframe to determine the shape of the tank. This wireframe is only for shaping and isn't a part of the final gas tank. With the use of some hamers and an english wheel, we shape the aluminum plates into the desired shape. After we've welded the whole tank together, we needed to grind down the weld seams to form a nice and even surface.
