@Xenoblade 3 - Archsage's Gauntlet: Pro - Lucky Seven on Hard Mode
[INDEX AND IN-DEPTH STRATEGY AVAILABLE IN DESCRIPTION] Lucky Seven can only be used for Hard Mode in the Archsage's Gauntlet after obtaining the Lucky Seven License for 60000 Noponstones. Beating all 140 floors with it however, is easier said than done. As such, Lucky Seven is rarely used for Archsage's Gauntlet. Figuring out a Lucky Seven strategy that works is a fun challenge, and after months of experimentation I've found a reliable and consistent strategy that's worth sharing. Recording date: 22 September 2023 (version 2.1.1) This video was planned to be released in 2023, but there were production delays. I would highly recommend to familiarize yourself with Matt's guide on the Archsage's Gauntlet, as it explains a lot of the fundamentals that's used in this run. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WY8rvPBzW_KEzUrbfWSslQsvzgub8oC7FUXW93QsJ24/ [PARTY SET-UP] 0:00 Healers in this party use Brute Memory, Devotional Necklace and Emergency Bandana. Combined with two Memory Locket Defenders makes for a very resilient party that is able to fully recover even with only Shulk or Ino left standing. Party wipes rarely happen, and in case it happens, we can abuse auto-save to salvage the run. We run two Defenders (Ino and Shulk) because one is not reliable enough. Two Defender circles greatly helps to keep everyone alive while also receiving bonus stats for having multiple Defenders in the team. As both Defenders can apply Break, they can interrupt enemy arts. Since we spam Break, we also include Rex to provide Topple/Launch so Lucky Seven's Gravity Blow can apply more Launch/Smash combos to feed the "Combo to Attack" Emblem. Priority-wise, Nia and Rex should be the last characters to unlock. Shulk early is preferable. As for Cursed Emblems, do not purchase them too early because the HP reduction hurts. As for Emblem priority: it's best to focus on what you need in the moment, rather than trying to prepare for floors way later. You do not need everything. [ NOAH ] 0:04 Lucky Seven doesn't last forever, so we use the Seraph Class to recharge Lucky Seven as quickly as possible after it runs out. Seraph also happens to be the best Attacker class for the Gauntlet, which helps to maintain damage when Lucky Seven is offline. The build itself is pretty straightforward. We use "Eye for Weak Points" to stack it with Lucky Seven's own skills to reach 100% Critical Rate as early as possible. Archsage's Flower Fan and Saturni Rings to boost our Attack as high as possible. Brute Memory adds a lot of consistency, as without you'll die in later stages before getting the chance to use Lucky Seven. [ MIYABI ] 0:23 Empty Shell is great. Her skills are useful too. [ NIA ] 0:32 Chain Art and Heroic Chain are fantastic. Abuse Heroic Chain to fish for more Breaks. Her Healing Arts are preferred over Last Hope and Merciful Heart. [ INO ] 0:41 Break Brooch to increase the chance for Break. Abuse Heroic Chain to fish for more Breaks. [ MASHA ] 0:54 Mainly for the Critical Rate bonuses. [ SHULK ] 1:02 We give our single Accomplished Vambraces to Shulk because Shulk dies less often than Ino, and Shulk recharges the Break art quicker because of Miyabi's Empty Shell. Monado Rage and Legendary Biter are necessary to keep the aggro stick. Monado Armor helps to survive. [ REX ] 1:10 Topple/Launch in one character is great. Brute Memory because No-KO Bonus.
