Entitetske uprave za inspekcijske poslove, u saradnji sa kantonalnim upravama, rade na suzbijanju ovog oblika kriminala. Ipak, i sami tvrde da je to nedovoljno, te da je potrebna pomoć državnih agencija. Za „cvjetanje“ ovog crnog tržišta zaslužna je loša zakonska legislativa, nedovoljan broj inspektora na terenu, te niske kazne za one koji prodaju robu koja nema porijeklo.
