Real Feels's video: Tanner Merritt of O Brother - The Great Release - Real Feels

Last week Tanner Merritt (of O’Brother) opened up the Andy Hull and Dustin Kensrue show at The Loving Touch in Ferndale. Real Feels picked him up before the show to film some acoustic videos. We had just two hours to make the trek downtown (in rush hour traffic), setup, film, tear down, and drive back to the venue. It was well worth it. The folks at Assemble Sound were awesome enough to invite us to their amazing space in Corktown. The group recently acquired an old church in the shadow of the Michigan Central Station. They are in the process of converting the church into an “artist incubator”. They hope to create a space for musicians to write and record, and they’re passionate about growing and connecting the music scene in Detroit.
