July, 2019. Seasonal monsoon rains have triggered deadly flooding and landslides across South Asia since early July 2019. More than 80 people have been confirmed dead in Bangladesh, India and Nepal, and dozens more have been reported injured or missing. Reports say at least 2.5 million people have been adversely affected by the monsoon weather this year. The death toll of the Nepal floods has reportedly reached 50, and 33 missing. At least 17 people were killed or missing and thousands evacuated as torrential downpours unleashed floods and toppled houses in southern China.
