Part 2 in transforming my 4Ground tree bases from the standard MDF cutouts to amazing realistic ground scenery. This is part 2 of 3 with 3 soon to follow! Here I'll will show how to carve and paint realistic rocks out of high density pink styrofoam. Next I'll be adding grass tufts and applying dirt(sand) and static grass to the base to finish it off. For painting I started with a dark base and worked my way up to lighter colors using the dry brushing technique. In the future I'll use another method using washes starting with a white base and gradually going darker.
