Red Bay's video: Daytime Racing with the Cobra

@Daytime Racing with the Cobra
Got to the track during the day on Jan 10, 2021. Son ran 3 races and I ran 1. We both did OK with times in the mid 11's(except for son's missed gear in the 2nd race). Looking at the video after we got home I realized that I left the adjustable shocks in the wrong setting. I had adjusted them for the road and they were way too soft for the track. Son was fast on the clutch and low on the RPM's at the launch and it really showed. Lucky he didn't break something. Watch the difference in his launches and mine(race 4 on the video) - mine is much more gentle than his. Race 1: Son ran against a fixed up Subaru and did OK with an 11.54 Race 2: Son raced a fast Cadillac that had been running 11.5's so I knew it would be a close race. NOT! Son missed second gear. Race 3: He ran a big Audi SUV that had plenty of power, but lost to the Cobra's 11.5. Race 4: I ran a Dodge truck with a Turbocharged Hemi. I had a chance to see the truck prior to the race and saw the turbo. I ran an 11.5 to his 13.6. It felt good to get in the mid 11's again. UPDATE on Feb. 6, 2021: Discovered that right rear shock either broke or was already broken during these races. In the process of ordering all new QA1 shocks for the car.
