This collaboration aims to support victims of sexual violence (Red Brigade Lucknow) and also support ex-Devadasis (Servants of God) to achieve their goal of financial independence through entrepreneurship. Set against the background of some stunning art and sculpture works by Atria Gallery, the event ‘Inner Warrior: A Tribute’ gave their esteemed guests the opportunity to network, raise funds for and celebrate the journey of these resilient and determined women warriors. The host managed to raise a humble £1700 that will be shared to help the Red Brigade Lucknow organize self-defense classes for a million women in India and allow ex-Devadasis to become independent through entrepreneurship, giving them a chance to become free from the vicious cycle of prostitution.
