RedDeerCityTV's video: GH4 ResolutionTest

In the beginning of May this year I had chance to do a few quick tests on the GH4 at my Local Camera Store in Red Deer Alberta, Canada . I only had about 1/2 hour to play with so I could not setup any shot beside the store. The SDI module was not available for testing at this time, I like the camera it has some very strong points & some weakness. First I really like the Oled monitor on the back of the camera, Second the "All i's" 1080p60 Is very clean and easy to edit, thirdly the 4k is nice but very weak internal codec "H264 IPB 100Mb/s 4:2:0" But the HDMI dose support 4K & 1080p switchable as I had my Ninja connected though the Micro HDMI. One very nice feature is that you can get 10bit 4K or 1080p full HD though the HDMI port but if you record internal at the same time to the sd card the HDMI signal drop to 8bit. All in all it a very nice camera.
