@Redington: IN THE LOOP: Reading Fast Water
In today’s episode of IN THE LOOP, correspondent and tactical expert, Cam Sneakerton teaches us how to read faster moving trout water. Being able to read water or identify the type of water in which trout prefer to hold in is a crucial part of having a successful day of fishing. Once you’re able to identify these spots, you can focus your fishing time to these locations to maximize your chances of hooking up by not wasting time on sections of the river that are less likely to produce. If you find yourself fishing a different river or even in a different part of the world fishing for trout, don’t worry. Trout hold in similar locations for similar reasons no matter where you find yourself fishing. So after you get comfortable with Cam’s advice, go and explore new water.
