Thibault Cauvin is one of the most talented, charismatic and sought-after young guitarists in the world today. Raised in a family of musicians, Thibault began the guitar with his father at the age of 6 years and graduated from the Bordeaux and Paris conservatories. Combining a background in contemporary music from family influences which he affectionately calls "crazy music", along with his classical training at the Conservatoires, Thibault has developed a unique 'new' classical guitar style with a youthful passion that magnifies the beauty of the instrument to present a rich, intense and modern repertoire with percussive embellishments. This Concert in Vietnam featured a musical tour of Global Cities; and this composition "Koyunbaba" representing Istanbul by Carlo Domeniconi with Thibauld's interpretation are to featured in an upcoming film. The event was sponsored by the French Consulate Generale of Ho chi Minh City and the Instute Francais and IDECAF in June 2012.
