Ingredients Bottle Gourd/Churakka Grated -1 cup Milk-1 1/2 cup Sugar-1 cup Milk powder-1/2 cup Ghee- 3 tbsp Cardamom Powder-1/2 tsp Cashew-A few Raisins- A few Heat 1 tbsp ghee and roast cashew and raisins. Roast it to golden brown and keep aside. Add in grated lauki and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add in 1 ½ cup milk and mix well. cook till milk thickens and lauki gets cooked completely. Add in khoya into lauki mixture and mix well. Add in 1 cup sugar and mix well. Sugar melts and boil till it thickens. keep stirring till the mixture thickens and forms a mass. add in roasted nuts and tsp cardamom powder. mix well. Transfer halwa to a bowl and serve hot or chilled.
