Maida /All Purpose Flour- 1 1/2 cup Baking Powder -1/2 tsp Baking Soda-1/4 tsp Salt- 2 pinch Egg-1 no Vanilla Essence-1 tsp Butter-100 gms Sugar-1/3 cup Brown Sugar-1/3 cup Chocolate Chips-1/2 cup Sieve all dry ingredients and keep aside. Place butter in a bowl and beat it for few seconds. Add granulated and brown sugars and mix on low speed until the mixture is smooth. Add egg and vanilla essence and mix on medium speed until combined. Mix in flour and mix just until the batter is smooth and comes together . Slowly mix in chocolate chips. Line a tray with parchment/baking paper. Roll 1 tablespoon of dough into ball and flatten them a bit. Place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 180°c for 10 min. Bake the cookies at 180°c on a preheated oven for about 15 to 18 minutes or until cookies are lightly golden brown on edges. The trick to making this best chocolate chip cookie recipe is to not over-bake them. At the end of the baking time, these chocolate chip cookies won’t look done but they are! These chocolate chip cookies will look a little doughy when you remove them from the oven, and thats good. They will set up as they sit on the cookie sheet for a few minutes! The above measurement yields around 20 cookies Let them cool on the pan for a good 30 minutes.
