This means that this method can be used with the PC off, or even if your printer is not connected to anything at all. A nozzle check is a great way to troubleshoot print quality issues with many other Canon Pixma printers, including the MG5500, MG5510, MG5520, MG5540, MG5560, MG5570 and MG5580.
