This lecture will be the second in a series on the topic of Hinduism, part of the UULA Comparative Religion course. (Course Syllabus, and links to additional lectures are available here: https://sites.google.com/view/comparativereligion/home/course-contentsyllabus) In this lecture, we discuss the evolution of Vedic Hinduism into Classical Hinduism, including Karma, Samsara, Brahman, Atman, and the Jnana path to liberation (the path of wisdom) as described in the texts known as the Upanishads. In the next lecture we will discuss Bukti Yoga, or the path of devotion, and the Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, and the Ramayana.
