My first time to visit Katara in Doha Qatar.. located between the West Bay and The Pearl.. Katara is a Cultural Village in Doha.. opened on October 2010 during the Qatar Tribeca Film Festival. Many Qatari organisations have their offices in Katara. These include the Qatari Society for Engineers, Qatar Fine Arts Society, Visual Art Centre, Qatar Photographic Society, Childhood Cultural Centre, Theatre Society and Qatar Music Academy.The buildings and facilities at Katara were deliberately arranged in order to reflect the country's cultural and architectural heritage. The good things there is that during night the views really fantastic and really relaxing.. the transport service is free.. during weekend a lot of local guest and tourist were coming there and it is free to ride the boat during weekends except weekdays you need to pay QR25. and there is also a cultural dance and music program perform by different countries you can watch for free during night time depends on the schedule.. water was free and available beside your seat. And you can find a lot of food installed in the walkway and good restaurant around the place.. you can relax in the beach area and even playground for kids like swing and slide.. and many more..
