Remus Mark Carballo, Team Javalava's video: Facebook is anti-LGBT: Shocking personal experience by Team Javalava

Facebook took down our LGBT-related posts, photos, tagged us as spammers, and banned me from posting the URL for our LGBT rights website. Instagram also banned my accounts from following and posting. Coincidentally, as I was shooting this video a whistleblower has surfaced and accused Facebook of epic lapses in caring for its user’s mental health and preventing violence rooted in political divide, in its pursuit of growth and profits. Frances Haugen, a former product manager at Facebook, stated that Facebook can prevent imminent dangers on their platform but chooses to allow it to increase hits or engagement on posts and comments. Apparently, we cannot rely on Facebook in our quest for equal rights. But we continue to fight. We are lobbying for the Philippine government to recognize our marriage legally and accord the same rights enjoyed by married heterosexual couples.
