Starting out as a slave, Anakin Skywalker was found on Tatooine by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn who believed this boy was the chosen one. Once Qui-Gon was killed by Darth Maul, the Jedi Council agreed that Anakin should be trained in the ways of the Force by Obi-Wan Kenobi. After facing Count Dooku as a Padawan, he lost his arm and got married to Padme Amidala. Then the Clone Wars started and Anakin was made a Jedi Knight. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan fought together in the Clone Wars until Anakin turned to the Dark Side to save Padme from death. After Obi-Wan defeated Anakin, the Emperor decided to replace his body with mechanical parts after finding him with serious injuries. After the procedure, Anakin was transformed into the Emperor's New Apprentice, Darth Vader.
