This video chronicles our journey as we navigate this "new normal" during COVID-19 and self-quarantine during Easter. Gwendolyn has not been able to sleep well since the shutdown happened due to the pandemic. We signed up for Instacart, but with others signing up as well and not being able to get anyone to shop for us for 3 weeks, Gwen was needed to go get groceries. The CDC guidelines now suggest to wear a face mask in public, but ours from Amazon is not scheduled to arrive until the end of the month, so Gwen borrowed one of the boys' bandannas. It was shocking to see empty shelves and the lack of basic toiletries along with other random items. The boys enjoy some treats brought home from the store and then Gwen stress baked some cookies. Our crested geckos, Leapy Lizzie and Stripey are out and about at night. Lizzie is drinking from the water dish. Gwendolyn's Albino Kenyan Sand Boa, Beetlejuice, is usually burrowed deep in his bedding, but he came out to await food in his fake mouse den that Cory built him, which is the only way he will hunt and consume frozen thawed mice. Cory helps Gwen spot the other crested gecko. Xander, our cat, then joins Gwen on the night shift answering calls. Gwen makes another trip, this time to Target, and it is still shocking the lack of supplies available, especially with the discrepancy from the website. Gwen describes her shopping experience during COVID-19 as well as the frustration of Amazon's website crashing repetitively while trying to shop and price check online. This was originally filmed from April 13 to 14, 2020. ReptiFamily Production We now have a Patreon account. If you want to learn more, click the link below: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=312035...
