Let's travel virtually with me let's explore Saswad. Saswad is a place with a long history The distance between Saswad and Pune is 34 km. Many places around Saswad are famous for tourism, the religious and historical memorable. Saswad is a village of temples and ancient forts. This is evident from a simple walk through the village. Sardar Purandare Wada,Sangameshwar ,Changwateshwar and Purandar Fort. these are some examples located in Saswas.We are exploring Saswad today lets come virtually with me👍 ✨Sardar Purandare Wada This wada is located in the heart of Saswad,just from 5 to 7 minutes a distance, you could see this huge wada towering over buildings. The Purandare fort was built in 1710 by Ambajipant Purandare, the founder of the Purandare family and the Diwan of the Peshwas. There is an old Ganpati Mandir built by Ambaji Purandare which was built before this Wada. We can see this Wada in the recently released period horror film Tumbbad! You can see a lot of this wada in the movie. ✨ Sangameshwar At a distance of 1 km from Saswad bus stand, Sangameshwar is a temple of Swayambhu Mahadev.Sangameshwar is at the confluence of the rivers Karha and Chambali, After climbing the stone steps of the temple, you can see a wonderful view of architecture and sculpture. The entrance Deepmal on either side of it, the Nandi in the entrance pavilion, the carved turtle in the temple. What is special about this temple is that Nandi faces west. ✨Vateshwar (Changavateshwar) At a distance of 3 to 4 km from Saswad bus stand, Vateshwar is an awakened Swayambhu temple. This is a masterpiece of Pandava Shiva temple architecture. The temple faces east and has 25 stone steps. The structure of this temple is similar to Sangameshwar. Deepmal, Kasav, Nandi, Tulshi Vridavan are eye-catching. At the bottom of this temple is the Samadhi of Changdev Swami. This temple was renovated in the year 1700 by Ambaji Parandare. Apart from these Shivalayas, there are many other temples Koteshwar, Siddheshwar,Pandeshwar but due to crona pandemic lockdown they are closed.likewise Sopankaka Temple, Bhairavnath are closed so we are visiting which are open to visit. ✨Purandar Fort Purandar Fort is known as the birthplace of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort of Purandhar stands at 4,472 ft above the sea level in the Western Ghats. ✨सासवड हे लांब इतिहास असलेले ठिकाण आहे सासवड ते पुणे हे अंतर 34 किमी आहे. सासवडच्या आसपासची अनेक ठिकाणे पर्यटनासाठी प्रसिद्ध आहेत, धार्मिक आणि ऐतिहासिक संस्मरणीय. सासवड हे मंदिर आणि प्राचीन किल्ल्यांचे गाव आहे. गावातून साध्या चालण्यावरून हे स्पष्ट होते. सरदार पुरंदरे वाडा, संगमेश्वर, चांगवेश्वर आणि पुरंदर किल्ला. ही सासवड मध्ये स्थित काही उदाहरणे आहेत. आम्ही आज सासवड एक्सप्लोर करत आहोत माझ्या बरोबर ✨सरदार पुरंदरे वाडा हा वाडा सासवडच्या मध्यभागी आहे, फक्त 5 ते 7 मिनिटांच्या अंतरावर, आपल्याला आधुनिक इमारतींवर उंच असलेला हा प्रचंड तटबंदी असलेला वाडा दिसेल. पुरंदरे किल्ले 1710 मध्ये पुरंदरे घराण्याचे संस्थापक आणि पेशव्यांचे दिवाण अंबाजीपंत पुरंदरे यांनी बांधले होते.अंबाजी पुरंदरे यांनी बांधलेले एक जुने गणपती मंदिर आहे जे या वाड्याच्या आधी बांधले गेले होते. हा वाडा आपण नुकत्याच प्रदर्शित झालेल्या काळातील भयपट चित्रपट तुंबड मध्ये पाहू शकतो! हा वाडा आपण चित्रपटात खूप पाहू शकता. ✨संगमेश्वर सासवड बसस्थानकापासून 1 किमी अंतरावर संगमेश्वर हे स्वयंभू महादेवाचे मंदिर आहे. संगमेश्वर कर्हा आणि चंबळी नद्यांच्या संगमावर आहे. मंदिराच्या दगडी पायऱ्या चढल्यावर तुम्हाला वास्तुकला आणि शिल्पकलेचे अप्रतिम दृश्य दिसते.त्याच्या दोन्ही बाजूस दीपमाळ, प्रवेश मंडपात नंदी,मंदिरातील कोरीव कासव आहेत.या मंदिराची खास गोष्ट म्हणजे नंदी पश्चिमेकडे आहे. ✨वटेश्वर (चांगवेश्वर) सासवड बसस्थानकापासून 3 ते 4 किमी अंतरावर वटेश्वर हे जागृत स्वयंभू मंदिर आहे. पांडव शिवमंदिर वास्तुकलेचा हा उत्कृष्ट नमुना आहे. हे मंदिर पूर्वाभिमुख असून त्याला 25 दगडी पायऱ्या आहेत. या मंदिराची रचना संगमेश्वर सारखीच आहे. दीपमाळ, कासव, नंदी, तुळशी वृदावन लक्षवेधी आहेत. या मंदिराच्या तळाशी चांगदेव स्वामींची समाधी आहे.अंबाजी परंदरे यांनी 1700 साली या मंदिराचा जीर्णोद्धार केला होता. या शिवालयांव्यतिरिक्त, कोटेश्वर, सिद्धेश्वर, पांडेश्वर अशी अनेक मंदिरे आहेत परंतु कोरोना महामारीच्या लॉकडाऊनमुळे ते बंद आहेत.तसेच सोपानकाका मंदिर, भैरवनाथ बंद आहेत त्यामुळे आम्ही भेट देत आहोत जे भेट देण्यासाठी खुली आहेत. - पुरंदर किल्ला पुरंदर किल्ला छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांचे पुत्र छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज यांचे जन्मस्थान म्हणून ओळखला जातो. पुरंधरचा किल्ला पश्चिम घाटात समुद्र सपाटीपासून 4,472 फूट उंचीवर आहे.
