Rev Match Media's video: Toyota Highlander: All Grown Up

@Toyota Highlander: All Grown Up
We had a week to get reacquainted with the Highlander name. The last time we rode in one was in the early 2000s in the first generation model. It was my friend’s mother’s car and was a top of the line model like our Platinum trim loaner was. It has really grown from that introductory model. Usually growth in cars is seen as a bad thing because it’s heavier, usually slower, and not as performance oriented as it’s previous generation. That’s not the case with the Highlander as it’s grown up in the right way. It’s as if water had been applied to a dry sponge and it’s slowly expanded throughout the models. It’s physical dimensions isn’t the only thing that’s increased, the engine performance, features, and price have as well. Watch as we showcase what we liked and disliked from this old friend after it’s new makeover.
