This is a tribute to my dear friend who has passed away - the great Wally Roker of the original Heart Beats, "A Thousand Miles Away". Wally was my record promoter to the Billboard Charts. He and his wife Marjorie loved this song "Life Is But A Dream" by the Harptones. Wally was known as the Godfather of Doowop. This is one of my favorite recordings - played every night in New York on WBLS after I released it.Please enjoy !
