Take, for example, the words written nearly a year ago by Jenny Broers of Fort Riley, Kansas: "I'll be honest, I've entered this contest 2 or 3 times and I always have great intentions and do well for about 2 months and then quit. This year feels different. I am mentally, emotionally and physically ready to change. I'm down from 225 lbs in June to 196 right now. My goal is to drop 40 pounds of fat which would leave me around 18-20% body fat. My husband is currently deployed and will return home around the time this challenge ends. I want to wow him with a killer, sculpted body. My plan is CrossFit 4-5 times a week and running/extra cardio 2-3 times a week.
