This time I restore a Rolex Datejust manufactured by Rolex in the early 1970s that had not been serviced in decades. This absence of servicing shows up inside the watch in a dramatic fashion. As I work on this Rolex 1570 movement I uncover a few nasty surprises. But Rolex watches are high quality machines and with some focused work I get this lovely old watch back up and running. By the end of the work it is beating strongly and accurately again!
