(Description updated 8/23/2015) Edgar Allan Poe meets "Blade Runner." Elfquest creator Wendy Pini's super-sexy, super-dark webcomic pays tribute to the master of the macabre. This is the very first teaser/trailer, produced by Wendy in 2007 (when she was less versed in the intricacies of digital video). Originally done for the (alas, now defunct) manga publisher GoComi, we owe much gratitude to the vision of David Wise and Audry Taylor for giving Masque its dark, gloomy launch. Though it was made well before "Masque of the Red Death - a Musical Thriller" was a gleam in anyone's eye, this video still holds up and the music, by William Alwyn, maintains its inspiration on the Masque musical now.
