Below you will see why Kia was chosen for the Daisy Awards.🌼 "While 8 weeks pregnant with my second child I had extreme pain/bleeding. Via an ambulance from work I was rushed to the ER where Kia was my nurse. After being diagnosed with an unviable ectopic pregnancy, Kia did everything she could to ensure I was comfortable as possible. She kept spirts high by telling personal stories of her friends that endured similar health issues as well as just telling funny jokes to keep me and my husband smiling and in lighter spirits. Kia is the most gentle hearted reassuring nurse I have ever had. After learning I’d lose my baby she was so sympathetic and helped me come to terms with the loss. During my 5 hour ER stay I also heard Kia give the same happy energy to every single patient she encountered and I also noticed her aiding her coworkers who were behind without needing to be asked. Kia is a true advocate for her patients and I genuinely don’t think I could have gotten through my tragedy as gracefully as I did without her. She is the pure embodiment of a caregiver, very informative, gentle spirited, and in my opinion the greatest nurse ever. Thank you Kia for your kindness, your reassuring stories, and your infectious laugh. I couldn’t have done this without you"
