Kamis, 27 Maret 2023. Kereta api lokal merak dengan lokomotif CC 2019214 (104) CPN KA 424B mengalami insiden kembali, yaitu tertemper/tertabrak hewan kerbau sebanyak 3 buah di petak stasiun Serang-Karangantu tepatnya di KM 117+800. Efek dari tertabrak nya kerbau tersebut lokomotif CC 2019214 mengalami gangguan kran airbreak patah posisi Longhood (LH). Sehingga lokomotif ini harus diganti di cilegon dengan lokomotif penolong ex KA Batubara pertama yang dikirimkan dari stasiun cigading. Yang selanjutnya lokomotif CC 2019214 ini diperbaiki di stasiun cilegon agar dapat digunakan kembali berdinas KA Lokal Merak (429b) Clg-rk di malam hari.
