It’s election time again in the United States, and that usually means FEAR and HATE. Look no further than the Republican party philosophy - small government, deregulation, lower taxes, gun rights, restrictions on immigration, restrictions on abortion, restrictions on labor unions and upholding “family” or “traditional values” (which basically means anything anti-LGBTQ). This year has proven to be especially repugnant with the targeting of trans-athletes and trans-children to gin up political and financial support from the Religious Right and Christian Evangelicals.
