Do gay gentlemen prefer effeminate (queenlier) men? It's a valid question. After all, when you realize you're gay, you tend to think the gay world is going to accept you 100%. How quickly you learn the gay community is like any other -- fragmented into cliques and divisions, unwilling sometimes to express a warming welcome to its more "sissy" members, and bent on using stereotypes like "queen", "girl" and "bitch" to describe themselves and others. I liken it to an old-fashioned country club where, in order to enter, members must be super straight-acting, good-looking, socially connected and well hung. (Actually, if you're ugly but have a killer body and large tool, don't fret, you'll still get through the door.) Feeling alone in the very "community" you hoped to find refuge in isn't uncommon. A good example is the gay online dating phenomenon. Check out the many websites. Chances are you'll see the following: "Hot masculine stud looking for same....Must be masculine, young, hung and on the DL....Absolutely No Fats, No Fems and No Queens." Wow.
