A new study shows the positive effects of a plant based diet as a treatment for Crohn’s disease. Our news report includes a brief interview with Dr. Michael Greger on gut health. Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease This causes inflammation in the digestive tract. This adjustment resulted in “a complete remission of Crohn’s disease.” Converting to a plant based diet allowed the patient to terminate all medications, and no relapses have been reported since.
