Good mental health is really important and there are some simple techniques we can learn to help us support it. We might even use these techniques to cope with anxiety or to help ease stress. When we're feeling anxious our head might fill with unhelpful thoughts that can make the situation feel much worse than it might be and we start catastrophising about the situation. Hélène breaks a common technique for unhelpful thinking into a 3-part series we've called thoughts. Check it out, sometimes - its as simple as Helene says - thoughts are just thoughts and they 're not all reality, so not all really representing the actual situation. Try to break the cycle of unhelpful thinking habits and catch your thought, check it and if its unhelpful - change the thought. As we say at Rise Above - its all about sharing our experiences, challenges and questions to help us deal with all the challenges life throws at you.
