Please watch, like, and share. This video is dedicated to Lolita and her pod. May they be united again one day... This nine-part video shows us a story regarding Lolita's life. For those of you who do not know, Lolita is a female orca who was captured forty three years ago in Puget Sound. Footage of this capture is shown in the video. She still performs for the Miami Seaquarium today, all but a slave for entertainment. Regardless of our stance on captivity, it is simply remarkable that she has survived longer than almost any other orca in these amusement parks. The only intention of this video is to show the beauty of wild orcas and "capture" the tragic story of Lolita and how she was stripped from her family and the home she was born in.
