And if you work in one of these industries then it could be much sooner than later. These are "8 jobs that Robots will do by 2020" 8 - Commercial Drivers/ Delivery - First, taxi drivers lost out to Uber. But now Uber isn't even safe. The Rise of self driving vehicles and drones will soon eliminate Uber, UberEats and Door Dash. As a matter a fact Chipotle is testing out delivering Burritos by drone (Say goodbye Doordash) and Amazon is doing the same as well. Budweiser actually made its first successful delivery using an automated self driving truck called OTTO to deliver beer. 7 - Food Service Industry - Of course the minimum wage jobs will be the first to go. They are usually very routine and monotonous. You've probably already seen the cashiers and waiters replaced at popular chains and check out lines across the nation, now robots are already popping up in experimental markets that make burgers, sushi, and even serve you a drink. 6 - Custodial Work - No one likes to clean, so we're glad this will be an eliminated job. A couple decades ago Roomba the automated vacuum cleaner was introduced to the world, Now we're seeing even more innovation in the industry. Window washers, Street sweepers, automated trash trucks, dishwashers, household maids and more. If you work in the custodial industry, say goodbye by the end of this decade to basic cleaning jobs. 5 - Healthcare: Nurses/Doctors(medical diagnosis/ surgeons) Healthcare is ridiculously expensive. The premiums alone now cost more than rent or mortgages for most families. This is why automation is going to change things. Many can self diagnose with accuracy using WebMD, or using apps to speed up the process of connecting with a healthcare professional. But what's really changing things are IBM's Watson which successfully out performed doctors on diagnoses and robots which can do all sorts of things like life saving surgeries to cosmetics. Nurses wont be required to give injections. Now Robots can give them with pin point accuracy and speed. If you're a nurse or standard physician, start looking for a new job soon! 4 - Companionship! No one is perfect, but soon you can get a perfect significant other with the help of robotics and profile matching using AI. Imagine the perfect lover who knows what you want and gives it to you just how you like it. No more arguments, no more jealously. But the question is, is this the right way to go? Perhaps, you can now grow designer babies in factories and with a plethora help from robot nannies, the 1950s style nuclear family is a thing of the past! Let's not forget about robot spike, the lovable family dog! It's so cute! 3 - Manufacturing/Construction Its already happening. Many jobs on the assembly line which FORD was famous for are already done by machines. But Now Rapid prototyping also known as 3D printing has become very economical. Complex structures can be made from just about any material using a binding agent. We've seen cars that are 3d printed, castles, and China is 3d Printing a skyscraper! What's really gonna blow your mind is that we can send these machines to different planets to build structures using the natural materials of the planet. Imagine going to the moon or mars and already having a lab , school or entire cities constructed ready to be occupied. Watch the Video to see the rest!
