@6 Nintendo Switch Games You Can Give For Christmas That DON'T SUCK!
The Nintendo Switch is one of my favorite video game platforms, from the wonderful hardware to the amazing games, there are lots of reasons to love the Switch. Around the holidays, I always get asked by parents what to get their kids who are interested in the Nintendo Switch. I normally have to ask where they're going to play, how they are going to play (handheld vs docked), the types of games they want to play, and more. A lot of times people (read: the non-gamer adults) don't know what games are fun, family-friendly, and don't have a terrible learning curve so many people can enjoy. Here are 6 recommendations for Nintendo Switch Games you can give as a gift for Christmas that are fun and don't suck. Super Mario Bros Wonder Wonder is what the Original Super Mario Bros would look like if it were released today, and it is so much fun. It definitely is challenging, but there are characters you can select that reduce the challenge so you can just enjoy the adventure. Yoshi's Crafted World Sony released Little Big Planet back on the PS3, and it was an amazing series of games. The wool or yarn look of the characters was super cute, and Nintendo followed that design aesthetic and put Yoshi as the lead character. This is an amazingly cute game that is fun, chill, and something everyone should enjoy. Kirby And the Forgotten Land One thing about the Kirby Games, since the first one, was that it was designed to be a fun adventure that didn't require a ton of skill. Kirby and the Forgotten Land follow that philosophy, but much like the other games on this list, & has an amazing appeal to a wide audience. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Starting back on the original Super Nintendo, Donkey Kong Country has never looked, played, or sounded better! To make it more approachable Nintendo added a new mode, Funky Kong Mode, which reduces the skill needed but still makes the game fun. Nintendo World Championships: NES Editon This is one that should appeal to the young or old out there! This collection of remixed mini-games based off of classic Nintendo Entertainment System titles is so much fun for people of a certain age, but the challenge will keep everyone coming back as you unlock more challenges. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe The best party game on the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, or Switch OLED, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's replayability can't be beat. You can also customize your characters, karts, and select a variety of different tracks from the series. This is one of the best games ever made! What games do you love for the Nintendo Switch?
