I go home to Michigan every year to celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends on Lake Huron. When I told one of my California friends that I stay on the beach, they looked at me seriously and said “You know that’s not a real beach, right?” They clearly don't understand. Michigan has real beaches. I hope this video convinces you. Northern Michigan summers are the best. My family has a place in Oscoda Michigan. Michigan has a tourism slogan called "Pure Michigan." It's used everywhere in their print and tv ads and I think it accurately describes the best parts of Michigan. The beaches, vacations up north, and the beauty of it all definitely yell Pure Michigan.
